Rowcon Waste Recycling Facility, Australia

CRS where delighted to be chosen by Rowcon to design, build and install a Large Waste Recycling Facility in Brisbane, Australia. The Plant was delivered through our Australian partner, Waste Initiatives, whom we worked closely with throughout the term of project.

Rowcon are one of the largest privately-owned civil construction material suppliers on the Sunshine Coast, Eastern Australia. They have grown into a dynamic and diverse concrete Recycling & Waste Management company, delivering high-quality materials over various projects across the State. Rowcon had a need for a new purpose built Waste Recycling Facility to further meet their business needs and selected to work with CRS in order to fulfil their plans.

CRS were able to gather a full needs analysis from Rowcon through our Waste Initiatives representatives and design a plant based around this. Continuous contact with the Customer across the project, maintained a smooth relationship and enabled delivery of the project on time.

The final results presented a full state of the art Waste Recycling Facility, separating and segregating C&D Waste, at 50 tonnes per hour.

Challenges & Solutions:

Time difference for communicating with Client & Dealer, plus communicating with our installation team on-site. CRS put in the effort to accommodate all parties by working outside of normal working hours when necessary.
The bespoke plant needed to be installed inside a purpose-built Warehouse. This had to be taken into consideration during planning and designing the modules, to suit forklift installation as opposed to conventional crane lifting.
Restrictions and constraints with shipping had to be adhered to and planned ahead, including haulage rules in Australia.
All Australian safety standards where researched and addressed during design stage, such as access handrails etc.
