Waste Sorting Station for Banks Skip Hire

CRSNI Ltd designed and integrated a Waste Sorting Station into Banks Skip Hire Chesterfield site.

This waste sorting station incorporated a 4 Bay Picking Station, Bespoke feeder system, Double deck flip flow screen for fines recovery, manual picking cabin, twin pole magnet and air separation unit.

What did Bank Skip Hire have to say about their recent Waste Sorting Station by CRS

We spoke to John Banks the owner of Banks Skip Hire to find out more about the recent installation of our CRS Waste Sorting Plant.

Q. Why did you chose to work with CRS?

A. We looked around at various other plants and decided to go with CRS. CRS were able to quickly gain an understanding of our requirements and were able to design a waste sorting plant to our exact needs and requirements.

Q. What was your challenge before your new Waste Sorting Station?

A. Before the installation we were working on the floor picking with a small Trommel integrated to remove fines from material. We wanted to increase our safety and production by removing on the floor picking and maximise employee safety. Before the installation we were on the floor picking 3 to 4 tonne an hour which we wanted to massively increase.

Q. How has the new installation solved your problem?

A. The new plant has solved our problems as we were able to move on the floor picking capacity from 3 to 4 tonne an hour to over 20 tonne an hour. This has now left us in a position to be able to provide workers with a safe controlled environment. The new plant has allowed us to incorporate a fines recovery on our site which allows us to recycle products from up to 10mm.

Q. How would you describe the overall quality and performance of the Waste Sorting Station?

A. The building quality of the plant CRS has provided us with is second to none. The installation from start to finish operated very smoothly with no problems occurred. Overall quality and performance of the new plant I have been very pleased with. Overall CRS are a very easy to work with.

Q. What would you say to any other company thinking of using our services and products?

A. CRS were able to provide us with exactly what we wanted with very little hassle, nothing was too much for them and they were extremely easy to work along with. They were able to provide us with an excellent plant that was well designed, well installed and very efficient.

Q. Would you recommend CRS and would you use us in the future?

A. Yes.

Thank you to Banks Skip Hire, Chesterfield, UK, for choosing CRS to work with them on this project.
